Many people suffer from feelings of fear and constant anxiety or are simply overwhelmed by the stress and demands of everyday life. Kadampa teacher, Gregg Lane, will explore mindfulness methods, meditations and ways of thinking derived from Buddha’s teachings that will help us to become fearless in the face of adversity and deal with our negative emotions more confidently and effectively.
What to Expect at a Session
We provide both cushions and chairs to sit on. Dress comfortably. A session provides effective methods to overcome stress, including guided meditations and other practical techniques and advice to use in daily life. After class, stay to chat with the teacher and other students.
Gregg Lane has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for 25 years. He shows an inspiring example of a modern Buddhist practitioner, applying meditative insights in his professional and family life. His heartfelt and practical teachings are presented with warmth and humor, making them accessible to everyone.
