An empowerment is beautiful guided meditation through which we receive a Buddha’s inspiring blessings, heal our mental continuum, and awaken our spiritual potential. Gen Lhadron will grant the empowerment of the Wisdom Buddha Manjushri showering our mind with illuminating wisdom.

“O Compassionate one, with the light of your wisdom,
Please dispel the darkness of confusion from my mind,
And illuminate my mind with the confidence and wisdom
To realize the teachings, commentaries, and texts.”

When wisdom is in our hearts, our mind is very clear, confident, and free from disturbing thoughts. Wisdom is like an inner spiritual guide and helps us to act thoughtfully, skillfully, and meaningfully in daily life. Since all our negative minds are based upon the opposite of wisdom – confusion – everyone needs to develop wisdom.

SADHANA:
Treasury of Wisdom – this sadhana can be purchased at our center, or a digital copy can be purchased online from Tharpa Publications.

OFFERINGS:
Offerings for the empowerment shrine can be dropped off at the center on Thursday (3/25) between 4PM and 8PM while we are open for the Offering to the Spiritual Guide puja. (You are invited to attend OSG in person if you’d like.) If you are attending the empowerment in person, we will have a volunteer on site to collect offerings from attendees. If you are unable to make it to our center but would still like to contribute, you can donate to the offerings purchased by the center here: OFFERING DONATION.
