Away Retreat with Gen Lhadron & Gen Tsoglam
International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon
There are many fears these days: fear for ourself, our family and friends, and our world. It's increasingly difficult to know where we can place our trust. Where can we turn for reliable refuge from fear and our many worries? What is genuinely trustworthy?
We may feel that there is no real protection from fear and the problems of this world, so we resort to distraction, stoicism, or denial.
Through skillfully relying on the Three Jewels of Buddhism — Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha — we develop inner protection and confidence in our own ability to transform our difficulties and fears. For us, these can be spiritually increasing times. We can joyfully follow a reliable path to permanent freedom and happiness. What can be more meaningful than to find such an opportunity?
