Sat, June 20 | 4-7pm
at Old Trolley Barn Park
Spend the afternoon with the sangha community at our second biggest social event of the year.
This year’s summer fundraiser pairs the charm of a quintessential English garden party with the lively energy of a friendly, low-stakes badminton tournament. Participating in the tournament is a meaningful (and fun!) way to support our precious dharma center.
There will also be plenty of time to enjoy an authentic British afternoon tea experience, complete with traditional finger sandwiches, fresh scones, and a curated selection of fine teas. We will wrap up the afternoon with the raffle draw ($500 cash prize) and awards for the best team name, the most festive attire, and the highest fundraiser. Whether you join us to play or cheer from the sidelines, your presence makes a difference. Don't forget your lawn chair! $35/pp. Kids are free.
Reduced rates are always available at the front desk and no one is ever turned away.

Participate in our raffle
$500 prize for one lucky winner. Raffle tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the front desk. One ticket for $5 or five for $20. The winner will be selected at the Garden Party on June 20. You do not need to be present to win.

This year's shirt design was inspired by the following quote from The Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land According to Highest Yoga Tantra sadhana:
With my mind like a fine horse heading for higher ground
Guided by the reins of the Dharma of the three higher trainings,
And urged onwards with the whip of strong effort,
Now I will swiftly travel the path to liberation.

Location: East Shore Mission Bay Park
We will gather on the grass by the parking lot just south of Clairemont Drive and the Mission Bay Beach Club on East Mission Bay Drive.
The large marker in the image shows the parking lot. Right off that parking lot is a second marker showing where we will be setting up....right next to the lot under the trees. Here is a Google Map pin to the parking lot. There is additional parking on the street. Avoid the Mission Bay Beach Club parking lot as it has only timed parking.
