Guided Meditations & Teachings

$10 suggested donation / free for members

Our sense that things exist separately from our mind, with their own fixed, inherent natures, comes from our ignorance. When we understand the true nature of things, we will realize that we can change our world simply by changing our mind, and if we wish to be free from suffering, all we need to do is purify our mind.

The inspirational teachings are brief and impactful, providing the basis for a 30-minute meditation, gently guided.

Class Topics:
8/6 What exactly is karma?
8/13 Ways to purify our karma.
8/20 Creating good karma.
8/27 Peaceful recognition when karma arises.

What to Expect at a Session

We provide both cushions and chairs to sit on.  Dress comfortably.  A session provides effective methods to overcome stress, including guided meditations and other practical techniques and advice to use in daily life.  After class, stay to chat with the teacher and other students.
